Is it complicated to charge a battery?
We are using a standard 110/220V AC/DC charger. So you just plug it into a socket as you do it with your smartphone or notebook. You can even charge it in a car using invertor.
Can I replace the battery and go for a second dive?
Yes. We have as an additional option for very active divers of commercial users a spare battery pack. So you can charge both packs and after the first one goes low power just replace. It will take you for about 60 seconds to replace battery packs
Usage
How long does the battery last for?
According to our tests average time is 60 min. Mainly it depends on 3 things: expirience of a diver, deepth you are diving and your weight. Expirienced divers raeched over 90 minutes and unexpirienced over 40-45 min.
What happens when SubBreather runs out of a battery?
Smart Security technology prevents unexpected discharge of a battery. The algorithms have a double notification system that pushes the signal to the diver and slows the compressor work to attract divers' attention and let him come up to the surface.
What if it flips upside-down?
We prevented this situation by setting an air compressor vent above the water level in any position of SubBreather on the water. Anytime it flips, the air supply would stay uninterrupted. But to notify diver that something irregular happened on the surface a safety system launches the alarm & slows compressor work to additionally attract divers attention.
Can someone accidentally turn it off?
Accidentally - definitely not. The power button is designed for 3-seconds push, mainly to block the random touches or any other unexpected things. It's quite difficult to accidentally hold the power button pressed on a floating unit in the water.
Can a bird or a stone or something heavier crack the SubBreather?
Well, only if it's a whale or a pterodactyl or a military submarine. The SubBreather's shell is made of high strength and stiff plastic. Sun heat is also not a problem, due to the unique water-driven cooling system. Also, it has good buoyancy that can hold up to 25 kg of weight.
